It's no different than you paying your union wage to line the pockets of the people who sit in a circle and decide how many people it will take to install a lightbulb. There is a piggyback to almost every job there is.
Only way around it is to become the owner of the company you work for and then you can decide how profits from the employee's are used. Whether that money goes back into the company, buys hookers and blow or is used to pay some clown to be a company cheerleader is up to that person.
Profits off my labor also pays for the people here who detail the cars. They bring no profit itself into the business. Their labor in a roundabout way does, as if the cars look nicer, they are more apt to sell easier and for more profit, but their work technically is at a monetary loss to the business.
I really dont care all that much because the office jobs are a necessary requirement for the world we live in. My wife works in an office environment doing what is called pricebook for a few hundred convinence stores. If not for her, when you went to pay for your Krispy Kreme's, they wouldnt ring up at the register.
