I'm hoping that they get a hold of me when his surgery is over I heard he'll be staying at the hospital for a few days I'll stop and see him it's only 2 mi from the job site I'm working at now during the week

No.
Wouldn't make a difference when the filler is on the left side and thermostat is in the lower hose.
Vacuum fill for everything these days.
