It could be Someone highlighted it to a mod ?? Or asked etc… but as @maulhead said members can’t delete a thread. well I know that to be true here. Don’t ask me how I know

But on the other hand there was a post about the thread being allowed because it was knocking another forum (remember the title of the thread to get around the automated alarm bells etc.. something like .banded from OP3) where as naming another forum wasn’t.

Only a moderator has the ability to delete an entire thread, regular members can't delete a thread, even if they are the ones who started the thread. Regular members can delete a post they made, but not an entire thread.

So if the thread is gone, a moderator deleted it.

Makes sense - I wasn’t thinking about all the others members contributions to the thread at the time I jumped to my conclusion. I stand corrected.

Whatcha cutting with a blade that coarse? Maybe they tried cutting some aluminum with it? Or any chance of pressure treated that's wet? I know those will ser it off

You make an excellent point.

Long complicated story about that....but I'll condense it best as I can.

Darin got pissed at me over us starting OPE. He didn't actually ban me from AS, because I had like 36,000 posts, and a *s-wordload of content that he thought contributed to the forum. So, he put me on "read only". That way it didn't look like I was banned to any of the members, but I couldn't post, or use the PMs.

Of course, I was sorta pissed too....so I created El Moobs, and used it to message him to ask WTF???

He never replied.

I used that profile for awhile, but not that much. He knew about it, but didn't really care.

Then Tony K (a moderator at AS) joined here, and messaged me about things common to each site occasionally. Who did what to who sorta stuff. Tony is good people. I asked him to talk to Darin about my Mastermind profile. I got regular emails telling me that I was getting PM messages on that profile that I couldn't reply to, or even read. Tony then suggested that I start the Mastermind Worksaws profile and use it. That way people would message me via that account. So, I did.

Years go by. Darin sold AS. I started getting messages from the new owners. I asked them about straightening out my old account. They were cool with it until they realized that I was an administrator at opeforum. Then, they stopped replying to me.

I forgot about it for awhile....till I looked up my 261 thread for a customer. That's when I showed my ass, and got all my accounts banned.

Thats as clear as mud I hope.

Time for my friend(weasel) keeping mice at bay to meet his maker. Last few days noticed yolk on the floor and couple cracked eggs, thought good now the hens are eating the eggs, nope seen that little weasel scurry out the barn yesterday. Got a rat trap with some fresh pork set a hour ago wasnt 5 minutes and I heard a thump in the barn. Walked up and the dang thing scurried off not sure if injured or not but I reset the trap, might sit around with the pellet gun as well. Surprised it hasn’t attacked any chickens, although it is a very small weasel no bigger than a red squirrel.

Make no mistake...they can be blood thirsty chicken killing little bastids.

Evening space weed enthusiasts. I never got into pot. We got weed for my grandma toward the end of her life to see if it would help with her MS. It didn't, but no harm, no foul when you're 84 and homebound. Cousin of mine got a "less than honorable" discharge from the military for smoking/selling weed on a military base. He was an ass and still is. I guess karma caught up to him.

90+% of what we run through that is hdpe or Nascar windshields. Last month we were making a platform for a tall machine and it got swapped out to rip the framing boards. And then a blade like that got put back on.

Just getting my operation back up and running. We get mink out here on the island maybe once every couple of years. I'm hoping they stick to the shore and pass right by.
