As we were getting ready to pack up and head back to the cabin I hooked into this 40” northern pike on my walleye rod. Probably around 20 lbs because it was a fat one.

I only took a couple pictures and back in it went but was probably the reason we didn’t catch only one walleye this morning

i guess some of the guys at work dont have my sense of humor
was a guy on days that got hurt and they modified a cart we use to move the 3400 pound bundles we are taking out and putting back in
they added a piece of metal all the way around the cart where no one can get foot ran over

my guys think its retarded and i got asked if we used the modified cart for the last 3 bundles going out
the dayshift superintendent said the other cart will be modified before we put bundles back in in a couple weeks
he said id be sitting on couch relaxing then

and i said ill be either sitting on couch or ill be ashes when it needs used again

they didnt know what to say to that

Day shift guys always put their feet where they don't belong.

Just got off the phone with the nephew.
He's getting more into tree work with his landscaping business.
He just bought a bucket truck.
Its in Tallahasee FL, which is about 200 miles south of him.
Its a 1972 Ferd with a 391industrial motor and the auto trans/2 speed rearend setup.
I'm not too worried about the motor, as those were pretty tough.
The shift machine might be another story.
It's got 50 year old beat to chit issues, but seems to operate ok.
He wants to go get it next weekend.
Should be a fun trip.
