Affirmative, I carry an air horn and a can of spray as last resort. When I have seen them, once the headlamp shines on the they usually take off. Once last spring I had a bit of a stare down with a bare but I expect their pups were in the bush behind them.

It blows my mind that you can’t have pistols like that. I carry a lot. To neutralize any threat - 4 legged and 2 legged.

I honestly feel the world would be a better place if everyone open-carried like the wild west. We’ve created a target rich environment full of victims waiting to be preyed upon for the sake of “society”. People think twice when they know what they’re up against.

I agree, I honestly believe that our societies would be more civil if we were taught weapon use and safety in middle school and by 16 were not only allowed to carry but expected too. If everyone is trained and carrying it is unlikely that anyone is going to stir anything up as they know they will be immediately dealt with.

Exactly. Also why I introduce my kids at a very early age what firearms are. Take the mystery out of them, and the kids leave them alone.
