Used to be a Ryan's Steakhouse here for decades (picture an old Quincy's Steakhouse if you will). They closed shop many years ago and a buffet-style place moved in and they called it Ryan's...southern cooking and your typical fried/baked chicken, fried/baked chops, meatloaf, cubed steak w/gravy, turkey/dressing, etc, etc, etc. Veggies were your typical spread of different peas, beans, mashed potatoes, rice, etc, etc, etc. And a damn good salad bar...all for $7.49 a head and that price stayed the same for years and years. We used to belly up in that place about 6pm or so and would crash that party 'til 9 or so, sometimes 'til 10pm when they closed. Talk abut some evil eye *s-wordt going on in there from the manager(s), waitresses, you name it. They closed shop about a decade ago...guess they couldn't handle the onslaught. Lol

There was one of them in Myrtle Beach. Hit it up a few times when we was in town for bike week.
