Absolutely. Offloading is the key to a good nap.

Ok, that's not a "too bad" model of green POS tractor.
They finally figured out the old horizontal 2 cylinder couldnt do it all.
They also "figured out" a power shift transmission, thanks to Allis Chalmers.
Some other good features on that tractor, courtesy of folks like Oliver, Mineapolis Moline, International, etc.

It belongs to my nearest neighbor about 5 miles away.

He has two 4020's, one with a loader, one for 3 point work.

I don't know if you noticed in the pic, those leather straps over his shoulder is for his arm/hand. He lost both arms in a corn auger accident. He's lucky to still be alive. He's a hell of a nice guy. I help him with as much as I can. And if I ever need anything from him he comes right over. A lot of the firewood he burns, I cut for him.

I made mention of wanting to bust up some snow drifts, in a passing comment to him, so I could get my trailer out, he was on his way over with the loader tractor before I finished talking. I know he is happy just to get out of the house most days, and do something.

When I buy another truck, on the other side of the state, or out of state, it's often easier for me to just go get it and trailer it home.

Instead of trying to find someone to drive it home for me, while I drive the other one.

Ive learned how to ignore certain chit. Just less time I have to spend ignoring, and more time I can do what I need to.

For the record, shes a damn fine woman.
Definitely better than I deserve.

Damn good on him for doing what he can.
I give chit to other color tractors, but in a good-natured way.
They all helped make this country what it WAS.
I wish there were still all the major players in the Ag game like it was until the 1980s.

My toy truck is finally back in the garage this morning for the injectors and lamda sensor, and what ever else was on that list from before .
