I've never really considered Kenny a thief. Regardless of what happened with this saw. I figure he realized that he couldn't pull off porting it in a way that would compare to other guy's work.....so he cut communication with the owner....and changed his username. I believe all of this is the result of his delusions of grandeur meeting reality.

Agree with that.
I PMd him about some plant-related issues shortly before he got kicked off here.
His responses were very detailed, if not a bit off track from the norm.
Ive got a feeling he actually suffers from a form of Schizophrenia.
I have a co-worker that I call occasionally.
He is AMAZING at remembering manuals and other info on equipment drive systems etc.
He can also get WAY out in left field in person, especially after a few beers.
He and his wife are both on meds for their conditions.
He functions just fine, and is a great wealth of knowledge, but damn, he's WIERD sometimes.

Yeah 25 or 30 foot tapes are kinda pointless, when boards are only 12-14 feet long.

No need to pack around the extra weight, and 10-12 feet of tape that will never cum unspool.

Makes sense for you fellers.
I dont have anything less than a 35', and it has to have a fat blade and magnetic tip.
All structural steel work.
Most girders are at least 20' bay spans.
Also have a stainless engineers tape. 165' length. MOST crane bridges are less span than that. Use it and a digital scale to check runway span tolerances.

The town I live near, puts these death notice cards out at all business, when someone passes away.

I find it odd, that 3 out the 4 currently displayed at the store, were born in 1953, all 3 were born within a few weeks of each other, all in 1953, and all 3 died the same week in 2023.

I'm pretty sure the two Krueger's were cousins, the one born in 1953 lived on a farm about 6 miles south of me. Other Krueger was born in 1956 he worked for our local phone & internet provider.

Either way it's odd to me, 3 people all born here locally, in 1953 within 3 weeks of each other, all die the same week of 2023.
