Group of about a dozen Hog riders just cruised by the house…damn nice day to be riding hitting 75 later.

BTW, Dally is a hawg rider as well…two-legged hawgs instead of two-wheeled hawgs is his preference though. Like I’m tellin’ you folks anything new here...duh.

Morning boys. My kid just picked this up John Deere 540. Gotta do a little salvage logging on the property. Mostly Douglas Fir. He’s gonna build a barn for a portable mill.

I’m in the 12-18” range down here. Maybe I’ll get to ride my sled yet again this year.

I'm hoping for some additional riding as well, and even thought I need to clean up at 2 properties I'm wanting the new dumpings. Just glad I don't need to drive in it while its coming down.

Looks like that trailer height is good for rolling the rounds directly on the splitter if positioned correctly. That would be a good setup.

Had an inch of snow earlier this morning, then it stopped for a couple of hours, just noticed while getting a mug of joe refill that it's coming down again.

Guess I should get the couple of errands done early b4 the the idiot drivers and those with with *s-word for tires get moving around to much. With the holiday for some people that might be a crap shoot.

Looks like that trailer height is good for rolling the rounds directly on the splitter if positioned correctly. That would be a good setup.

Trailers about 8" lower than the splitter. Still everything is at a good height for me. Goes from trailer to splitter to wheelbarrow, all standing, no bending over unless I drop a piece. Works pretty well and efficiently I think.
