60-70 mph winds last night blew a lot of the snow south.

Drifts by this *rock* yesterday were 6-7 feet tall, you could hardly even see it.

If the wind would die down they could get the roads back open, both interstates and both US hwys, have been closed for almost 4 days now. Lot's of stranded people in town. Damn wind just won't quit, some of the drifts here are insanely deep.







Parked right in the middle of the highway, nobody was in it. Loader came by and pushed it out of the way. So he could clear a mile long drift, hour or so later the road was just buried again.

And if you ain't covering your beer to keep the red clay out as they go roundy round, and gotz goggles on in the stands up front, welp, it ain't grass roots racing LOL. I do like Larson, he can drive both dirt and asphalt no doubt about it.

When it comes to roundy rounders dirt is way better than asphalt but I like 1/4 mile stuff too.

So in that situation does the state, county, or purely volunteers check on stranded divers of both cars and trucks by snowmobiles, helicopter 's or what? I know that's big country out there totally different than these parts.

If they declare a state of emergency, I've seen the national guard out here in helicopters in years past, but that's been a few years back, when we had 3 back to back blizzards come through, it was nasty, we were without power for 7 days.

Other then that, everyone fends for themselves, or relies on neighbors, or passers by to help. I always stop and check when I see a car or truck stuck, to make sure they have help coming or if they need my help. Sometimes it's just a empty ship, they've just left it, like that car.

While you diks are in snow up to your cups, it's supposed to be nearly summer here so I spent a fair bit of the day removing winters green from the boat. Then put 62 litres of regular in it and dosed the fuel as per the Optimax outboard gurus advice. Ouch $$.

Good morning Adam, nice boat. I would ask how much a liter, but then I would have to ask how many of your money to our money. So nevermind. Dogsitting gets me up at 0230 and 0400, so don't want to think until I have had coffee. It's brewing!
