Smoking/drying jerky today. It takes a long time like this but I like the results. Nice steady smoke and the convection current the small fire creates in the WSM keeps fresh dry air going through.

We can't have those crazy dangerous necked down rounds down here. Two years ago I bought an AR in .450 bushmaster. I sold that last season and picked up a Ruger American in the same. So far I'm three shots, three kills with a total of about 120 yards traveled after impact for all three. Leaves a tremendous blood trail with a lung shot.

Of course I could use a .22 if every shot did this.View attachment 356530

She doesn’t want to eat much or drink much. Nurses told her she better or she not gonna make it
