My dogs woke me up about 0200 raising hell. Neighbor's hunting dogs had broke loose and were chasing my cattle....again.
I killed one of them, and he showed up and caught the other one.
I slept late.
Some of the older ones did. That engine SHOULD be made by Fuji (Robin). This old beast.....no spark. Has it got points?

I have zero experience with wheel swap on one of those.
But, I looked up the brake specs and it only lists dimensions for 1 rear brake rotor, caplier, etc and 1 for the front (no brake options).
So, I'd assume there should be no issue with any size wheel that GM offered from the factory.
Gary what size is the spare? That might only be a 16” which would tell you they will work.
I hope you neighbor understands! Some are too ignorant to know they are responsible for the dogs death and will blame you. I would be horrified if my dog was causing harm to someone's livestock, and would put it down myself, and make restitution. I hope it stays civil.

Its been a minute since I worked on one.
Crank seals were a thing.
You need to pull his young dumb arsz aside and tell him what's going to happen at least a month from now when he gets on-site. Hair test, now that's different LOL. He will either get it or fuggem. One of the youts at school today smells like they smoked a bale of weed on the drive in.

This is a pre apprentice class for minorities. Some get it some it's like trying to push a rope. Dont assume. Thanks Ed.
That’s assuming there is more than a phone number for roadside and a can of sealant back there.
Best to just unbolt it and yank it where you can get to it.The guy who owns the dogs is a good friend, and a good neighbor. He gets it.
But.
One of the dogs belongs to his wife, and it runs loose. She ain't really a dog person, but she loves that damn dog. When one of the hunting dogs breaks loose, that dog falls in with it, and they always chase someone's cattle. A few weeks ago they caused one of my bull calves to get out from chasing it, then they went to a neighbor's place and were chasing his cattle. Charlie (the dog's owner) has tried to get me to kill her dog several times, but I won't unless I have to. The one I shot last night was the one that broke the chain, the other one was smart enough to haul ass when I showed up. The one that usually runs loose is on a chain today.
It looks like it's a mfer to work on down in that hole it's in. One of my Mennonite friends is hoping to get it running for his kids to ride....so we are trying.

I cant even remember if the coil is inboard or outboard the flywheel, but that would be a quick way to check for points if it's outboard.
So, it must have points, right? External coil should need points to collapse the field, to induce spark? Question is, where are they?Coil is mounted on the outside on the "firewall".

Son just found out the hard way with their Civic SI. Blew the whole sidewall out. Dont think fix-a-flat will remedy that.
