My dad passed away at 53. Getting older than he was felt odd...

My best friends dad was shot and killed at 39.(through his own misdoings. Really long story)
His 40th birthday was a bit difficult for him.
Probably different circumstances, but it makes one look at the choices they made.
That one was pretty sobering for us all.
