Sleeping is something I am good at. Sometimes pain wakes me up, but I get back to sleep quickly. Yet I hear every strange noise at night. My wife doesn't know how I do it, and neither do I.

If it rains this weekend I shouldn't get any marina calls, maybe it will be quiet. Anyway, good morning all. Coffee is ready.

I service anyplace that dispenses fuel, either public or municipal. There are many lakes/rivers/navigable waters in East TN, they have many dams with locks. You can navigate all the way to the gulf of Mexico from East TN believe it or not.

My job is to fix anything that is part of the fueling system. In tank pumps, tank and line monitors, the dispenser, card processing and point of sales. It is a strange industry, and I am pretty sure the same stuff is used all over the world. Very portable career if one wanted to move. It also seems a little like hotel California. The check out but can never leave part.

I retired from it back in 2017, then un-retired from it in 2020. A new company starting a new branch needed me. I was a little bored and was telling the wife I needed to do something to exercise my brain, them I got a phone call. The rest...
