Yesterday the transmission went tits up in the Ranger....again. No forward or reverse. Sprag clutch busted I'd wager.

So today, Jonathan and his buddy Billy Bob, went and got a crashed Ranger to use for parts. Jon is done with the automatic. He's gonna 5 speed swap it.

On the way home, pulling a trailer with the wrecked Ranger on it, the release bearing in the old F350 started raising hell.

Oh....also yesterday. The power steering valve (steering column) on the JD2640 started puking hydraulic fluid from under the steering wheel.

Gotta love old junk.
Just remember, no matter how bad things seem, they could always be worse. At least old junk is repairable.

That is a nice looking pool. Almost makes me want one.
Stick with almost.
Unless you can afford a full time pool guy or the better half is willing, it takes a monumental amount of effort to keep a hole in the ground full of stagnant water looking that way.
Kudos to whoever keeps that pool.
Nice job!
Ive personally got 3 GIANT pools.
Also known as Lakes Hartwell, Russell, and Thurmond.:)

I can absolutely fix any of that stuff. Time though. I'm always pressed for time.
Its all about time and money Randy.
Lately, the ratio favors time.
I can find the time to fix A LOT of my old junk MUCH easier than I can afford the payment on new garbage that doesnt even let you drive it without trying to steer, brake, and accelerate for you.
And youre charging me HOW MUCH for something that I cant even drive by myself and costs Butt-loads to replace electro-digical stuffs or get firmware ungrades on?:eek::mad:
Nope.
Just gonna find time to fix the ole F 150 when it needs it.
It would pretty much need to take a direct hit from a SAM for the repair cost to exceed replacement cost at this point.

I wonder what flat land looks like. I should ask @dall or @Mastermind , they might know! Lol

I imagine the only flatness they is is the bathroom floor.

We need a bigger house for reals.

If it was up to me I'd get a 100x50 like my uncle and turn a 1/3 of in to a house and the rest a shop.

Good morning men, Happy Independence Day, and a big good morning to our British brethren, as well as former colonies. Technically, I am not off call until 7:00, but I am off call. Got called out to NC last night around 10:00pm. 108 miles into a 148 mile trip, they cancelled it. So I got to watch fireworks randomly for a few hours on the clock.

Then the alarm that goes off Monday through Friday goes off this morning at 6:00, cause I forget to turn it off on holiday's. So I couldn't even sleep in until 6:30 like I was planning.

Who cares? I am not on call!
