It is a shame that you are pretty correct. Maybe an f150 with 300 six and manual transmission. Not very fuel efficient or passenger practical. Good question though. I am going to think on it. My Ferguson TO-20 from 1951 is pretty dang reliable. But not what you asked. Maybe anything Toyota or Honda, Japanese have that quality thing down pretty good.You have one vehicle to choose from and the goal is longevity/reliability/simple what vehicle do you choose? . I’m going with a 85 Toyota pickup with a 22re. Although I wouldn’t mind earlier model 22r engines.
