Wife liked this tri tip smoked like brisket better than my normal way, I prefer the other way. Not sure what to do next time. Very tender but not that juicy, my try this way again but injected it first.
Also have to remember, if I am going to use left over grits to try and make polenta fries the reserve to grits before adding the cheese. Once the cheese got hot they did not hold their shape.
