Mrs insists the kids do something edumacational at some point on our trips away, so yesterday it was the Devonport naval museum and gun emplacement complete with tunnel network.
Idea was to protect Auckland harbour from the Russians in the late 1800s originally.
Very cool day. Made the kids think a bit at least.

I'm not a gun guy but one was a Bren. I took a pic of the inventory but it's pretty reflectivey.

Sup fellas. Had a great day in the national forest. Weather was about perfect, best of '22 so far. Wish the trees would fall closer to the trail. Got a buggy load of Ash and another of Cherry for cooking. Made a fire with the hickory I brought up and tossed a big slab of beef over it. Charred up some baby leek greens too. Sleeping won't be hard.

More than 2 1/2” of rain so far, ground still frozen, pooling on top or running overland. Apparently have a low spot I’ve never noticed against one side of the house. Had to drop a pump in it to get it away from the foundation.

Someone mentioned pain in the ass mufflers. Here's a 5105 muff.

Thankfully the buyer of this saw was okay with waiting a little bit for me to get this done.

Only thing missing is Coach's corner with don cherry. wish he was still on. I'm just not even paying any attention to the NHL this year or previous...MTL has sucked anyway. I will watch the playoffs finals if a canadian team makes it though

I sort of worded that as if I stopped following because of don getting fired but didn't mean that, lifes just been busy, and the added bonus of MTL SUCKING lol.

I'm not a golfer, but their maternal grandfather is, and he's got the kids into it.
They get it right every now and again, and goaded their mum into a whack today at the range.
After a couple of duffers she sweetly hits one 150 yds on the fly.

Habs suck! But then so did the Jets…

It pains me to say it but, keep an eye on the Oilers. I think they are going to make some noise this spring.

I drained the snowblower and put it away. Now i hope @redline4 and @Stump Shot get all the snow

Meh. I don't mind them. You do them pretty much like I do except I grind the crimp and have it TIG'd. But now that the son got a machine I'll probably do it myself.

I don't mind them either but they are a little bit of a pain, similar to the 361 muffler I did a little bit ago. Well worth it though
