I wish they’d leave it at the spring forward time. I prefer the longer evenings.

Morning gents. Is anybody looking forward to the time change. I personally like the time right where it is. This spring forward thing that's coming irritates the crap out of me for some reason! I still, to this day, have no idea why we do this. Does anybody know why? Seems like a big GFY from big brother, to us.

I for one appreciate the change. If we had Daylight Savings all winter I would almost never see the run. It wouldn’t rise until after 9am and set just after 5. Standard time in the summer would have sunrise as early as 4am, I’d much prefer that daylight after work.

I spent some time in the Ruby Valley in Nevada. About an hour south of Elko.
Nobody ever paid attention to the clock really. Everything was based off the sun.
Everyone called it Ruby Time.

I don't mind daylight savings time. As somebody who likes to get up early it's nice to have that extra hour of daylight in the morning, rather than around supper when I'd be wrapping things up by anyway(Winter).

Finally they are getting longer, 6:30ish here. peaks around 9:30 here. I was out west yeas ago(alberta), had daylight until near 11PM
