The snow is hanging around. Been about 35-38F the last two days with a lot of melting.
I did get some things done today. Dragged out the pines that the goats were done picking at, and cut them a couple more. Went and bought another hay spear for the Ferguson at rural king. Started feeding the goats round bales, finally about out of squares. I have to say, I prefer squares. Less waste, and the wife can feed them without me if she needs to. She won't drive any of the tractors, unless I am there. Which makes it pointless. I am not gone long enough at a time for her to need to replenish the round bales anyway. Also, I can pack the squares in tighter in the barn. I am limited to two high with rounds, (tractor limits not height limits). This was an experiment, and at least I have the ability to handle rounds now.

Will not be able to use all the round bales I have left, and never have carried over hay from previous years, would get rid of it once I put up enough for the year. So not sure what to do with all the leftover. Old squares would be used to seed bare spots, and for erosion control. I guess having too much hay is better than the alternative. Maybe I should make an unroller!

Will stop rambling now. Oldmanitis you know.

Saw a commercial a min ago about Slack…messaging app platform for business (think Microsoft Team, etc). Sounds like something developed by Dallas don’t it?
