Then finally when John Cafaro bought the company and moved it to Youngstown Ohio LOL!
They again tried to modernize that car with a 305 and started production in 1987. Well it didn't work out for sure. Only produced 405 cars before going defunct in 1991. This was the last chapter of the Gheymobile and yes it ended in Youngstown, Ohio LOL!!

So, Ford in their infinite wisdom decided to put vane type oil pumps in the motors in my ute. Minimises parasitic drag apparently. Also, sometimes the vanes break causing no oil pressure and total engine loss. Excellent.
A much more betterer gear oil pump is available. I texted a mate basically looking for him to reply "harden up and get on with it"...I sometimes need a bit of a push.

Fun day today.
Service and PM of a high use crane today.
Almost done, and found a burned out motor brake. One of the wire connectors to the solenoid coil broke, and the motor had enough arse to drive through until it melted the friction discs.
When it gets hot enough to liquify the bonding agent, its pretty hot(and STINKY).
Smells like nothing else. Overheated semi truck brakes dont even come close.
I'll be smelling that for weeks every time I open my tool bag.
Other than that, wonderful day today. Hope y'all are good.
