There used to be in most of the burned areas. Trees grow real slow up here and crooked. The soil is extremely rocky and the wind and weather play a big role. I dropped this little dead fir yesterday and it has more than 50 growth rings in 14-16” trunk. The eucalyptus species seem to do well.
