I'm feeling almost human again. It was a fantastically beautiful day here.....so El Bubba and I finished a few things up on one of the balers, then sorted out a drag harrow that I got cheap. Then I dragged a few acres.

The drag harrow is unassembled in most cases when bought new.....and evidently the guy who brought this one didn't know that once you assemble it, you gotta bend the hooks closed so it doesn't fall apart every few minutes while you're trying to use it.

Like I said.....I got it real cheap. LOL

Easy there Kiwi, don’t take it so hard…it ain’t a dik. Ewe might hafta school me on just exactly what P is in NZ toymenology…

I was thinking,,, p is fentanyl pronounced as “phentayl” ?

As I said in my post to these quotes, P slash meth slash ice are all synonyms for the same living death.
Like most NZ slang no-one really seems to know why we call it P, but best guess is it's a shortening of Pure ie This is the Pure stuff.

As to my road mission, I was half right
...I said 7 hrs, and it was 3.5 down, but dummy me forgot about big city Xmas evacuation....5.5hrs home. Doh!

Anyhoo, I went for a new ute hardlid (cap?). My ute has had a 'glass Sportlid the whole time I've owned it, but you can't stick or stack or attach anything to the top of them due to the fragility of the 'glass.
I finally stopped procrastinating and bought an aluminium one. 4mm checker plate, reinforced and with tracks for attachments. Can carry 150kg on top. They're $3.5k and up here new, but this one was near to new, $2k. They never come up, because everyone wants one. Still a ridiculous amount but I'd been saving/overtiming enough to just do it.

The traffic on the way home was so slow at one point I jumped out and grabbed this outboard propeller flag out of the gutter. Was one of five I saw. C'mon boaties, tie a knot FFS.

That's pretty cool. I don't think I've ever seen anything like that here. Either fiberglass, or cloth.
