Yeah, well, he will still tell you that you mf'ers are wrong.

So, I stuck this to the fan control.

It circulates no matter the direction. Whether it hits floor first then wall across ceiling back to fan or hit ceiling first down wall across floor and back up to fan is potato potato.
This according to an energy expert for the state that I know.
Main thing is that you turn it on.

This is absolutely correct for a building as a static space. Once you add people the evaporative cooling felt by humans changes things up.

Heres todays question.
Just had a discussion with my dipstick service manager because he keeps changing the direction of the big ceiling fan at my end of the shop and I keep changing it back..
So, which direction do you guys think it should turn in summer vs winter?
I know what the ceiling fan companies say, but according to him, they are wrong.

I leave mine directing the air down in cold weather
Heat rises so moving off ceiling
Right or wrong

I turn the one in the room with the wood stove blowing up. You can feel the warm air coming down the wall and spilling into the kitchen. The ceiling is about 11 feet high in the room with the stove.
