Not an exact recipe per se, but it always turns out for me.
2 parts ground up cow
1 part ground up pig
optional 1 part ground up deer if you have some
Egg
bread crumbs and some oatmeal if desired to stretch it
Lipton french onion soup mix
dash of Louisiana hot sauce
couple dashes of Worcestershire sauce
You'll have to eyeball ingredients depending on amount of meat and size of eggs.
Mix in a bowl and make a loaf in a pan, cook until done in center
remove loaf from pan
put pan on stove and lo heat add milk and Wondra flour to make a gravy, whisk and stir till done
Whomp up some of your favorite mashed potatoes or french fries for your gravy to go on
or just refrigerate loaf for later to make the best sandwiches on the planet. Miracle Whip one side, Ketchup the other.
