1940s turbine controls that uses lube oil as hydraulic fluid. My plant got away with it as long as they could until regs forced them to upgrade to a modern electro hydraulic control system. Those use a fluid that’s not flammable. Can burn but takes a lot. The old system leaked so badly and caught fire many times. We even had some folks get hurt from it. Glad to finally see it go. Now I gotta force my brain to learn the new system.

Keep on a learning Pat. Can't keep that mind cluttered wif chainsaws all the time LOL!!
