They run and pull really well once they get ported and a 357 fuel and intake system. Add a 357 screen filter to that.

I'm guessing that's why Husky evolved to a fine thread on the case to riser threads Brent, easier to pull down to a set torque I spose.

I doubt it as I made sure is was all good and sealed up when I assembled it.
I got it with roached bearings.
All new bearings, piston, rings, intake, fuel line and filter, carb kit.. I'm guessing the carb is fubar. I've never gotten it to run right for more than 15 minutes. Tank vent is new too.

All new bearings, piston, rings, intake, fuel line and filter, carb kit.. I'm guessing the carb is fubar. I've never gotten it to run right for more than 15 minutes. Tank vent is new too.

If a kit doesn't do it Ed let me know. I can help you rule the carb in or out.

I swapped out the cartridge filter system to a oem hd setup


Piston still looks great after many gallons of Schaeffer's boat oil.

Honestly, I'm not sure he does tho. That 345e I have here isn't exactly weightless so I don't see that falls into the 'pro' column enough to be useful to him despite the zing.

Three going on four, wish more people gave them the respect they deserve, everyone just wants to slap a 272 cylinder on everything that's not one.
