@dall where you at slacker? I wanna know about these trailer 'torque tubes' from a proper welder, or you. ;)
lol I finally got to watch the video yesterday and I think it would be a good idea just to give it a extra point to keeping it squared up
With the C channel going to the beams to the tube it would also give it a extra strength so it doesn’t bow in the middle
But he paid way too much for the build

lol I finally got to watch the video yesterday and I think it would be a good idea just to give it a extra point to keeping it squared up
With the C channel going to the beams to the tube it would also give it a extra strength so it doesn’t bow in the middle

Seems like a band aid to me. I see a lot of 18 wheel tankers and flatbeds thru work and none of them are 'tubed'.
Surely if the main rails are up to spec it shouldn't bend lengthwise, and steel sheet decking should keep it square.

Or not. I know nothing.
