Installed an internal voltage regulator and made a new wire for the alternator out of some 4 AWG welding cable. Used a hydraulic crimping tool and put marine grade heat shrink over the lugs.

Also bought a new fuel shutoff solenoid, I tested it for function but it got dark before I got to install it.

Keep blowing the fuse for the dash and parking lights. Need to figure that one out. I suspect the trailer wiring.

New battery cables, fluid and filter changes are on the list.

I was trying to figure out the wiring mess on some old Harley. Supposedly it quit working after swapping the lights and handle bar, and the guy clamped the throttle and brake onto the handle bar over the wires without running them through the bar shorting all those wires out. I'm not quite sure what I'm doing as far as testing things with the multimeter, though I know how to use one. I almost got the 7 wires on the right handlebar repaired. Not sure if the coil has power, but I don't think the ignition selector switch has power.
