Cool, No blanching required =less muss and fussing. Thanks for the response.Tim, this time asparagus just rinsed off, dried, wrapped with bacon and on the grill it went, on a raised rack over the main rack on the Weber Performer. They didn’t go in until about 3/4 of the way of grilling the thighs. I hit each bundle lightly with bbq sauce on both sides, flipped twice. Indirect heat with coal baskets, grill never got above 300 degs, adding some charcoal along the way.
