Never rained this afternoon like the guessers called for, but the clouds are building up now to do something.

Did somebody say rain?
We had 8" here in the last 3 days.
Thundering now.

On a sad note my 84 yr. old mom died sunday. Planning a funeral is not fun but friends and family came together and have it under control.
Covid is a concern with all the older people , how do you tell family not to be so close?
I guess i am going to try leading by example and wear a mask and ask people to stand a little farther apart.

Losing a mom is tough no matter the age. Sorry for your loss my friend.

Cancer. Lots of pain.
She finally let Hospice come in so she had a hospital type bed and pain meds.
She died in her home while sleeping on her terms.
She worked up till about 6 weeks ago.

One thing she did for us was about 8 years ago she wrote her own obituary, cause we would not get it right.

She finally let Hospice come in so she had a hospital type bed and pain meds.
She died in her home while sleeping on her terms.
She worked up till about 6 weeks ago.

One thing she did for us was about 8 years ago she wrote her own obituary, cause we would not get it right.

She sounds like one hell of a strong woman.

Sorry for your loss. Writing mom’s obit was a chore without question. She’s better off now, no pain to turn her in to someone she didn’t like.

yesterday morning, early. smoke alarm went off, so i flew out of bed and started downstairs and twisted my ankle bad on the way down. turns out my wife couldnt sleep and was cooking bacon for breakfast and set off the alarm. now my ankles the size of a grapefruit.
