So I tried something. Took a good used mcculloch bar that had some ugly paint from being old, removed said paint, then polished all the hot roll "scale" off till it was shiny. Then put some bluing from Brownells on it. I wasn't expecting it to look like case hardening but I like it. Had I stopped with one application it was much more colorful. I have a 14" I'm going to do as well. Can't have Mcculloch splashed across the bar on a Remington saw.

Thanks. They're pros. That post will be taken as hating but I've just been trying to point things out. The ads are everywhere we go now so that is what it is.

I just wonder... what's a website full of mostly redneck azzholes even worth? I get it that the reinstatement of the P/R forum was purely a move to up traffic. I figured that at the time. It would be kinda cool if that was the only thing going by next spring. But if not so be it. I'll talk mostly BS with a little saws somewhere.

Evening guys. I threw two pair of jeans out tonight. No, neither pair was one I wore up north two weekends ago. Plenty of life in those.
