Damn slackers
Yes sir! Haven’t done a darn thing tonight…Damn slackers
surprised to see scaffolding upEvening lads.
Nap taken. Headin In.
Thought the house building curious amongst us might find this interesting.
This house nextdoor is being built on a Cupolex Rib Raft floor. It's pretty a much a thick floating air pocketed concrete floor. Generic screengrab attached.
The floor was boxed and reo'd last week, poured our Monday, and the factory built framing was being stood up our Tuesday. Took the last pic today, our Wednesday.

How so? It went up after the framing if that helps your thought process. I'd say the pre-cut trusses will go on tomorrow.surprised to see scaffolding up

I'm not joking here, its compulsory to remove fall from height issues. But......just in case, they'll also have great big bean bags or nets stretched across incase they do fall thru the trusses. Sub-contractor on top of sub-contractor.around here it doesn’t get used

By choice our building trades probably would too mate, but we have a govt thing called the Accident Compensation Corporation which all workers/employers pay a levy into to guarantee free basic health care to all. The back side is the ACC gets to mandate some (tonnes) rules about how injuries can be minimised. We just fall and die like men.
What Joe said. Actually the current job rules are railings on scaffolding at 4 ft. Just let us work . Fuggin safety asshatsWe just fall and die like men.

I have progressive glasses and I will not have that again.I actually wear two different pairs of glasses. One for driving and stuff, another pair for working or reading. I tried a few different progressive lenses, but couldn't see worth a damn wearing them. Keeping up with two pair sucks too.
