Just picked up a load of reclaimed 2x6’s for my sawmill project…nice wood for 1/2 the price.View attachment 309094

When I was in college I worked for a small lumber yard. The owner had an uncle that did demolition. His uncle salvaged all the lumber from older homes and buildings (50-100 years old). All I did was pull nails for 5-8 hours per day in the hot sun. I couldn't pull nails fast enough. People that knew what it was would buy it as fast as I could get it cleaned up. You can't get that quality of lumber anymore...

That was a vintage sticker not age appropriate with the saws age and time of porting. I like that sticker better than the newer ones.

@Mastermind can you help me understand how having OPE members join other sites owned by HLSupply en masse would be beneficial to HLS?
Surely the idea is to capture sales from as many points of the chainsaw community compass as possible, regardless whether those other folks share the same moral position.
Or is that names like Mastermind and our other genuinely well respected experts add traffic for the site via the sheep level participants like me?
