Evening knuckle humpers.
Did a little more cleaning up on the 262 extra peas.
I'm thinking crank seals were a lot of the problem. Flywheel side looks pooched. Bearing doesnt look great either. Think both will get replaced.
Still have to figure out how the oiler pump and drive gear comes off.
Anyhoo, enough saw tinkering. Its about nighty night time.

Husqvarna makes a puller for the gear. But with a little heat, and some prying, it usually comes off fairly easily.

I seem to remember the pump gear thread was close enough to be able to use a pipe thread socket as part of a puller?

Yep. 3/4" conduit coupler I think.

How y'all measure a trailer deck? We do same as with timber. 8x5. 8 ft long, 5 ft wide.

Trailer is a 5x8. Or 6x10, or whatever. Unless you're talking semis, then its just the length, standard trailers are all 8' wide.
