From your last couple of post's you know you will never be happy until that thing is righteous. Too much effort and money involved. Why waste NOS decals on that thing. It ain't no dang work saw. It CAN BE another showcase saw right beside the Remy's.Damn it man. Stop appealing to my OCD and need to make *s-worde right. 10 minutes ago I was still fugg that mfer. Now I'm on the fence.
i may be slow, but yeah, i saw what you did there lolNaw man. Not the saws fault. It's rebuilt and has 170 psi compression. Full of nos parts. Probably just going to run it and let the chips fall where they may.....see what I did there.....
get to work farmerGood afternoon fellas.
Damn it man. Stop appealing to my OCD and need to make *s-worde right. 10 minutes ago I was still fugg that mfer. Now I'm on the fence.
There you go. Tell em. I don't need to redo the redo right Dallas? Right?
he just got up from his napget to work farmer
I appreciate the offer and the information. I have an automotive paint supply shop 8 miles from me. I should have went there and asked not assumed any sandable primer would work. Lesson learned. I'm going to save the information you posted and set on it while I ponder if I want to do this all over again. This thing, having a later 4 port 100 series engine in it, required some custom modifications and because of them it is an absolute mfer to get the motor in and out of it with the non removable pull start housing. Even both L / H jets and the idle screw have to come out of the carb to get it in / out. Knowing myself, after a couple weeks of looking at it, knowing I failed, I'll tuck my tail and get back at it. Right now......fukk that mfer. Lol.@Egg Shooter . Just talked to my local supply house. He said if you gonna strip that saw and do it again to use acid etch U-POL 741 V primer. But said if you do that you gotta get all the way back to bare metal. If u want some I can bring a spray bomb of it with me to Kev's.
