They say the uppers are a bit more difficult.

Got word that my 84 yr. old mother has some strange cancer in her bladder/ kidney area and are recomending Hospice.
She thinks she can manage for a while but she needs help getting out of bed so we are going to have to convince her to accept help.

Liked for sympathetic reasons. Mom just turned 75 2 weeks ago. Has Parkinson's.
Going through that convincing part, but more with dad than her.

It is tough, my father was killed in a robbery when i was 12. Mom took over a young Drycleaning business dad had bought after managing it. She kept it going and tried to raise myself and my younger brother. She and i have ran the drycleaners together for close to 50 years. She did the books and i machines. She did the books up till 3 weeks ago.
Telling her independent self to take it easy and worry about herself just makes her mad.

My friend Doyle I grew up with
Passed away.
He lived the way he wanted and always worked for himself.
He's getting his last wish
No funeral no nothing
Just cremation and his ashes
Poured on his favorite field on a ridge he rode dirt bikes in the 70s 80s and 90s especially a air-cooled
Rm250 with ungodly miles on it
He rode it so much the carb slide ate through the barrel of the side of the carb.
and later on his 700 Kawasaki brute force
Too many friends going away lately.
