So I learned years ago on most parts OEM is best. Especially brakes. Across all makes on brakes. This is our 09 civic rears with close to 100,000. All original yet. This is the second time they have been inspected hence the copper anti seize on the hub to drum interface. Obviously quality factory parts isn't the entire story. My wife almost exclusively drives this and is a pretty darn conservative driver. The front rotors are still original and ungrooved. Second set of factory pads. Changed around 60,000 just because with 3/16 - 1/4 of pad left. For years now its always OEM brake pads and shoes. Worth the little extra imo. Only one aftermarket pad had surpassed OEM in my experience. Hawk performance pads. Easy on rotors and will about put you through the windshield once broken in per the instructions.
1) driver b4 cleaning
2) driver drum
3) pass after brake cleaner
