So sausage man was nice enough to send me a couple of chains. And they were bad to the m effin bone i only used one so far. Hit a gat dayum bit of what used to be an old fence grown into the tree. Well I had to practice square filing for a long time to get it back looking OK. But my OK is probably terrible at best compared to what it was. Ca de don sa!!!

Well the hint was Warren, Ohio. That's where the Packard brothers started a lighting company in the late 1890's and then progressed to autos. Which is where a cool Packard museum exists to this day. So, yes, it's a Packard Autohood ornament. LOL!!

I had know idea Packard was in the lighting business before cars. They company i work for was the first seller of electrified lights in Western Canada, and history traces back further to candle makers.

drag this lift 1.5 hrs up the mntns getting 7.5 mpg to do one job today and another tomorrow. Tomorrow lady flaked. Come back next weekend. Pfft.
