Four Canada Air planes and two helicopters dropping water along with all the local fire fighters that could be found got it under wraps quickly.

Those CL415’s are pretty spectacular aircraft. Glad they are getting the job done. Here in BC there terrain and water sources aren’t conducive to their use so reliant on helicopters or fixed wing fire retardant drops but those require landing at an airport and no where near as efficient.

Drove the ol Ferd to town to fill up with gas, and get new tags. Its running really good, and the brakes are fantastic. Once I get new tires on the back, and the interior finished, I'll be moving onto a new project.

They are fantastic when there's a large water source nearby. I used to work in the hanger next to these guys when I was stationed here back in the day.
