were ok piddling around
maddie is doing good slacking out on the loveseat
whats left to do on the dozer ?
Flush the cooling system (again - already done it once and heaps came out) and refill it with antifreeze. Flush and change the main engine oil and filter, change the fuel filters, flush and change the oils in the pinion clutch and injection pump, tighten the tracks......and the list goes on. I've already pulled the heads on the pony motor and cleaned the water jackets and completely cleaned the oil bath air filters (2 one for the main engine and one for the pony).

The most major works which need doing, and I won't be doing it for a few months is to at least tighten (and maybe replace) the big taper roller bearings in the rear axle. But that's a major and needs some big gear as I need to pull both tracks, final drives, and the steering clutches (on big splined tapers - need at least a 15 Ton hollow ram and special adapters to do it) before you can even access the bearings. The pre-load is adjusted with shims and you need to be very careful that you get the mesh on the pinion drive right. I'll have to find a workshop and week free to do this and I can't see that in the near future.
