I had a friend in Florida who raised a gator from a wee little thing he found. It lived in a small pond on his place. He fed it.....and it got huge. One day Mike rolled his mower into the pond accidentally, and it turned over pinning his leg underneath it. He saw the gator slip under the water on the far side of the pond heading his way. Mike wasn't a strong man......but he suddenly found the strength to get that mower off of his leg, and get the hell out of the pond. Then he went into his house......grabbed a rifle, and killed that alligator. He said it was good eatin too.
