We have had all of those! After I get these two tractors fixed and out I have a d17 diesel coming to me as a jigsaw puzzle. Was taken apart about 15 years ago for an engine rebuild and never put back together. I only took in on because I want to hear the unique sound of that Buda Diesel!

Ours was black belly.

Nice looking machine!
The D17 diesel was pretty-much the same as the WD45D engine, just slightly improved.
I dont recall exactly, but I THINK they still used the Lanova injectors for the D17?
Watched a guy demonstrate how those worked once. Had a domed disc that the pressure overcame to get the injector to spray if I remember right.

Close Steve.
CA was made from 1950 to 1957?
C was from 1940 to 1950.
CA was more gooder.
Had power adjustable rear wheels, form of live PTO( used a clutch to take out the rear differential), better seat, and could be had with Snap coupler implement attachment on later models.
My late friend Greg had a CA. His widow drives it every once in a while.

I hates Ferds. Tracktahs I mean.

The Ollie looks like its knee-deep in rubber on the rears.
I see its got the PAWs.
Those were a good idea, as long as you kept the eccentrics tight...
Im with ya. I hate them old ferds. Not because they ferds, because they were uncomfortable pain in the asses. Dad had one. He wasn't brand loyal but that one went down the road after a few years. He had Deere, Allis, that pos ferd, Oliver and Farmall when I was a wee one on up till he was in his 80's. Not always at the same time. Usually a couple tractors at a time. Kept the Farmall cub up until he couldn't get on it.
