At least the spruce ain't as sticky as the pines. Was in a big ole spruce today. Not sure which type. Not blue, black, or Norway ....

Was probably fir if it wasn’t sticky. I don’t mind working on fir.

Every spruce (Norway, black, white, blue) I’ve ever cut has been full of sap.

they usually have big pockets of sap internally between growth rings too.
