Agreed :sisi3:
At least the spruce ain't as sticky as the pines. Was in a big ole spruce today. Not sure which type. Not blue, black, or Norway ....

Wondering that meself.
Almost looks like one of the Russian oldies with the controls set up above the saw.
Pretty good idea for bucking stuff on the ground. Dont have to bend over.
It's on the Acres chainsaw specs site. Supposed to be British. Made with wheels so the women could buck chit up while the boys were of to war. I quoted you too @dall ....dunno what happened.

I knows a little somethin about rock quarries Dere bud.
A lot of the ones around here are not drive in. They haul out with a crawler crane, hydraulic, lattice boom, etc.
Mostly unsafe junk.
Hottest place you can be in summer. Coldest in winter.
Heres an overhead crane I inspected last week at a "production plant".

This site isn't too bad equipment health wise. They did put up a new building for the 10ft circular saw that slices and dices the large ones. It does have a new overhead. I'll try and get a couple more pics. The circular saw is massive.

They make up to 14' in rotary diamond tipped blades.
A lot of places here are going to diamond wire segmented saws. More versatile. They will cut vertical, horizontal, or custom shapes.

Tryin to stay up n chat ..... humpin that wet spruce wore me out. Thems wet needles get heavy. Then I unloaded my pick up by hand. I had laced a rope in the bed but it was to close to the gate. It only choked up on a couple branches after I tied the udder end to a tree. My old ladys already countin sheep

They believe the explosion by my parents was intentional. The guy that died was just released from prison on July 1st and didn’t report to parole on the 2nd. His mom said he was depressed and wanted to die. This MFer caused over an estimated $1.5 million in damage to 15 houses and so far 5 need to be demolished. Thankfully nobody else or any firefighters were hurt. The ATF was there today with the fire department investigators.
