It was hard to breathe today. Nasty. Don't know how them swamp people in Louisiana and Florida can take it. Im sure there are other nasty humid states too.
You get used to it, and when you go to a dryer climate, your skin dries out and you itch like FUGG. Damn fingers split open and stuffs. That only happens if its a cold, dry winter down here.

Sticky job.
It sure is! I have old work cloths I wear for just such jobs. I feel about the same way about spruce/pine as you do about chainsaws, but it payz da billz

Feel free to uproot all 11 and bring them here lol. They'd be perfect for the front of my property by the road.
Nah you don’t want theses they got the needle cast pretty bad. The whole other side of thems dead to about 2/3ds up.

You grind stumps too Brad?
nope fork that bs

Lil' Tex and the rubber knife gang would have had that whole job done and been home grillin up some porterhouses while giving valuable intel on things never even seen in person on the internet.
You best step up your game Brad
No joke I was a big time slacker today fo sho. Gave up the ghost after I drunk the 1.5 gallons of water/gator piss I brought for the day by 3:30. Only got 3 trees down and chipped today from about 11am to 3.

Me likey bridge cranes. When I get to building a shop here, I want one in it.
Check on Gorbel and Spanco work station systems when you do.
If you only need a 1 or 2 ton system, those should fit the bill at a lower cost than an engineered system.
Probably what I'll do if I ever get around to putting up a bigger building here.

I may want a bit more tonnage but I'm writing that down now. This post will be buried in 3,2,1 .....

Twine arm passes the knife....and it should cut it. I've evidently got it out of wack. I'll get it squared away.

They make higher capacity stuff too, but the cost gets up there pretty quick. You can go to an engineered system with what we refer to as a "kit crane" for about the same money or sometimes cheaper.
Lots of options. PM me if you get serious about it. I may be able to offer some insight.

I'm a ways off on that but notes taken, thank you.
At times I put big goals in front of me.
