Be some good groceries about 6 this evening…sliced another spud, another half a Vidalia onion and added a handful more carrots/mushrooms to the top after I took the pic. Bottom of the crock pot loaded the same, 3lb pan-seared real quick in olive oil roast, sitting in the middle.

You have 75 different smokers and grills and you're using a *f-wording crockpot?
FAIL!

@dall did your Pennsylvania kids get you a nice fathers day present?
Emancipation papers.

What did ayoungtexan get you for father's day?
Probably sent his yard crew over on an Osprey to do up his yard.

With any luck, a T-shirt that says "Deez Nutz"
I raffed.

He's on his way to your house on his big wheel to weed eat
With his ported Stihl trimmer

While you push mow everything
His arms aren't long enough to start a push mower.

Had to convert measurements 63"x 94 1/2" . He says playhouse - did he put a cot or hammock in it ?;)

probably already one in there lol
Had to re-convert.
8 X 5.25.

Nah no dog-house crib. Did manage to move it 10km without shaking the box of crockery off the tiny table tho. Probably should have checked inside it before I pulled out but hey, no harm no foul right!

Any spare time I've had over the past three weekends has been working on getting this old girl running. As many would know, these old Cats have a 600cc 2 cylinder boxer petrol starting engine to start the diesel main engine. I had to rebuild the magneto and clean the carb out before I could get it to run and then had several adjustments to make to the engagement pinion before I could get the main diesel to start. Finally, on Saturday I got everything right and the main diesel made smoke - the first time in many years. Very very satisfying! The 87-year-old owner (on whose estate I cut wood) was absolutely thrilled. And for a machine built in 1940, I have to say the quality and engineering is superb - American engineering at its finest.
