FedEx showed up. I took the plunge and bought the Makita XML08PT1 36V 21” self-propelled commercial mower with four 5Ah batts and dual rapid, fan-cooled charger, after using one for about 20 mins at a neighbors house several days ago. Acme Tools had it here from one of their ND stores in less than 3 days, free shipping. Been eyeballing it on YouTube for a while anyhow. Since I’m heavy as hell in the Makita platform with either 14 or 16 5Ah batts currently, what the hell was the decision made. I’ll put the handle together and on the mower, all the assy required, and give it a spin here in a bit.

I’m just here to meet some cool people and have connections to buy old husky parts. I haven’t been brave enough to sell anything here. I got a room full of saws and I’m too afraid to sell anything and be accused of trying to rip someone off. I’ll just keep my pile of hack saws and keep trying different porting things on them. I’ve seen some things go down if someone made a mistake on a saw. Man I’m a human being and I’m not gonna say I’m not ever going to make a mistake on a saw. Now porting a cheap saw for free or in trade for some parts. Nobody can get mad at me for that I don’t think.

I think in person saw transactions are best for both sides unless you're giving someone something for free. Then there's nothing to complain about. There's alot of parts swappers and theives out there. I'm just not trusting of people these days but that's just me

Oh I get what you mean and most people have to have the defense type attitude for the scammers out there. At least once we do business with some of the same people on this community you have a reputation. I wouldn’t be in the slightest bit hesitant to buy parts from you.
