My nephew had his car in my barn swapping engines. I kept telling him not to leave tools in there. Well....someone stole his tools, and cut the cats off his car.

Fughin thieves. He's got a line on a fella he suspects. When he catches up with him there will be hell to pay.

WTF.
I'd be digging punji pits, setting claymores and buying attack crocodiles.

Worst thing is they’ll be back again if they get away with it. A friend of mine is working up north driving truck at a mine and his girlfriend is a nurse here in the city. About a month ago someone slid under her car and boosted the CC, last week they must have noticed she’d gotten it fixed so the went for it again. In the meantime she had installed cameras and was alerted when they were there. They weren’t caught but startled and ran off before they got through the first cut.

Do you wear chaps when cutting or do you live on the edge in shorts
Used to live on the edge. Got some chaps from the Christmas give away thread last year. Because of ticks, anymore, its coveralls treated with permethrin as well as socks and boots treated as well. Then the chaps unless it's just a few cuts testing a saw or something.

For the history buffs, today June 6th, is the 77th anniversary of the D-Day Invasion of Normandy, aka Operation Overlord.

Hand salute to men amongst men!
My dad ended up in the Battle of the bulge 6 months later. He wasn't at Normandy. I think he was in boot camp yet? I'm not sure.

Have to admit I had to google brushhog first time I read it here.
We call them Slashers here, or Rotary Slasher. Same thing tho. Four heavy flails on a plate driven by a right angle gearbox from the PTO yeah? Normally steel tube skids or slides rather than wheels here for simplicity.
I think brushhog is a name that gets attached to all rotory cutters as a generic description, which is what we call them around here.

Some fella that just got outta prison is our prime suspect. He was hanging over at the crackheads place at the end of the road. If Walter gets ahold of him, he is fuked.

We're gonna get a couple of cameras.

We call it a bush hog.
