I am kicking around starting an odd item resurrection / restoration thread. I'm started one today, its kinda odd, and thought others might like to see the non OPE, automobile, tractor oddities we may work on.

Go for it

Seriously, fir Glenda's sake, both of you try stopping dairy for two weeks and see how you both feel. It can stay in your system that long if you are a heavy eater of it. If you try this, be aware that non dairy isn't legally required to be but dairy free has to be.
Haven't had a soft cheese but maybe a dozen times in three years and just a bit. Not one glass of milk or cream enriched products either so no ice cream. Having the chits 24/7 is no fun after six months to a year. Dairy and some others stuffs had to go.
Just cut out potato chips out last month and phased in white cheddar no bs added Doritos. Not my fault our daughter got us hooked on them. She has now become the new white cheddar cheese Cheetos champ. At least I can still eat a few Oreos. No lactose helps out muh gut so hard or sharp cheese is ok.

Dairy make my wife sick as hell anymore and I get itchy and mild hives on occasion from milk, cream, ice cream. Because she quite all dairy I mostly have. I have cheese on a burger once a week. My allergies are even better now.

The chains are rarely the problem. Its lack of maintenance often or unchecked leak. Even the 900 hp baja truck run chain T cases like a production truck.
I fixed enough plow trucks with holes in the case from stretched T case chains. The chains from OEM were ok but the AM was really chit. The factory chain last 60K if you actually used the 4x4 regularly. They hated big tires and sad gears. Big block trucks broke them often.

We ran both chain and gear in our 4x4 days. Only damage I saw from the chain T case was hitting a rock crawing if not skid plated properly, or blowing a U joint and it takes out the output. And the above mentioned lack of maintenance. I'm sure they do stretch over time like my waist line. Lol.
